This book is one of three important and exceedingly useful references on the stencil artist, Mori Yoshitoshi. This book differentiates itself from the others by dedicating a significant portion of its focus on Mori's original drawings, sketches, and paintings. Many of these works are not illustrated elsewhere and provide the Mori fan a larger sense for the artist’s diverse body of work. The book also illustrates nearly 150 stencil prints, several works are not included in the other Mori references, making this book a must for the Mori collector.
