This recent book on Ohara Koson is the best Koson reference to date, cataloging virtually every work designed by this important 20th-century artist. This reference lavishly reproduces in color, many as full pages illustrations, all the woodblock prints done throughout Koson's long and prolific career, and includes the designs he produced using other names, such as Shoson and Hosun.

The book illustrates and catalogs nearly 350 designs, far surpassing any other book featuring this artist. Though the majority of the book is in Japanese, each print’s title is provided in English.
