This reference illustrates hundreds of warrior prints found within the 200+ year tradition of Ukiyo-e. The illustrations are high-quality color images that showcase the subtleties of print-making from this era. Of particular note are the rarely seen early impressions of important Ukiyo-e seldom seen outside of Japan and rarely reproduced elsewhere.
