The reference lavishly illustrates important and rarely seen examples of Osaka prints in full color. The images alone are worth the price of admittance, but the information contained within—written in an accessible format—will ensure years of helpful use. This is one of a couple of books on this topic that is a must-have for the Ukiyo-e enthusiast.
