Known as an early and important Sosaku Hanga artist, Kogan Tobari was also an accomplished sculptor. This exhibition catalogue highlights over two-dozen of his sculptures and illustrates his rare paintings and drawings, not to mention all his self-carved and self-printed woodblock prints. There are only a handful of references that illustrate Kogan Tobari's prints, this catalogue pays close attention to his printed work and goes far beyond that.
