This reference is the hard-to-find exhibition catalogue for the 2006 retrospective on the Kansai Sosaku Hanga artist Maeda Toshiro. Known for his early use of surrealism in his prints, Maeda went on to produce some of the most compelling printed works in Sosaku Hanga. This very useful catalogue illustrates hundreds of his prints in full color and is particularly noteworthy for the numerous illustrations of his rare early work, not reproduced elsewhere.
